To me, it's no different than a painting on the wall as it represents a unique expression of creativity and fine craftsmanship. We heard they were rounding up all the stray dogs and spaying and neutering them…. and getting them some vaccinations! I finished scanning the photos from Far Guy’s Cousin Terry and boxed them up to return. Far Guy’s infusion was a bugger this week. He tried first, got a blood return and then who knows what happened but when we started the IV he had intense burning pain and then the IV occluded…we pulled the needle and fluid poured out… I poked him next with no blood return so he tried it and the third time was a charm…he is really sore and probably needs to see a Dr. This port sits so deep I think we need longer needles. If it isn’t one thing it is another. The lovely team over at Who What Wear put together a fun quiz to find out if you are more like Ashley or more like Mary-Kate. I’d like to introduce you to Ruth and her awesome quilt. She was at the Happy Scrappers Quilting Bee Saturday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. She said making this pattern is a great way to use those scraps, especially those fabrics you consider old or ugly. This quilt turned out to be rather large. Ruth said she is unable to visualize dimensions and just kept making blocks and using her scraps. I don't see any ugly fabrics, do you? This is a close up of the quilt. She did most of the cutting while sitting in front of the TV. She said the sewing was what she calls “mindless sewing. ” Ruth made this quilt for the Gitchee Guemee Bible Camp at Eagle River, MI. I know it's a bit too easy to shoot down - yet again - Deborah Arnott's laughable claims in defence of plain packaging, but Sunday is known as a day for not working hard. So let's have even more fun with her piss poor attempt at advocacy from February. e. that once a measure has been applied to tobacco it will be applied to other products is patently false. She belly laughed the other night when Brent was reading a book and doing funny voices, and it was the highlight of my week. I feel like, as my second baby, I appreciate her darling baby-ness so much more. Her sweet cheeks and chubby thighs and fuzzy hair. I just know what she turns into- a toddler- which is great, but just. more difficult. The report from the White House, and from the President himself, is that the mission was successful and Usama bin Laden is dead. You have heard this, and now, you doubt it. That is: like a bad paraphrase of a famous figure in the Christian Bible, unless you see the bullet hole in his head and can put your hand in his cranium, you will doubt the reports. Suffice it to say that if you believe in the resurrected Christ and you repent of your sins – your pride, your avarice, your entitlement and self-promotion above the governments God has ordained for this world at this time – you can be saved from your paranoia and your crypto-anarchist tendencies. Director Johnny Kenton recently sent me a link to a new science fiction short film they made titled Hereafter.
