This is a fast preamble to get to the subject of giving. Giving is taught and preached more than it is done. Many churches, radio and television programs are teaching giving this way, “You should give to me and my ministry. ” The emphasis is, “You are to give so that I can receive. Much pouring over maps, looking at Google Earth, trying different route solutions, and trying to keep the mileage within reason. Tasking all that with a mind to convenience store opportunities and it gets a little bit dicey sometimes. But it isn't anything I haven't done before. It always requires actual eye-to-course recon anyway, so that is what today is all about. "Why I Blog" I really laughed over this silly picture. I actually found it on someones blog. To be a blogger or not is the question. We must have this deep sense and longing of being a part of a bigger picture. A homeless man who told detectives he’d just arrived on the bus from Fort Lauderdale days earlier, was arrested for stealing property from people who were on Higg’s Beach in Key West. Deputy Vicki Fleck was working at Higg’s Beach Tuesday shortly after noon when a man reported his bag with his phone inside had been taken from the beach. He was tracking the phone using another phone, and showed Deputy Fleck where the tracking application said his phone was. Instead of doing the wise thing and using Kent from Oz's method for stretching a pen loop, I just forced the pen in and out, thinking the loop would stretch with wear. Instead, it was the threads attaching the loop to the cover that gave way: I thought it would be a pretty simple job to have a cobbler reattach the loop and make it bigger. I brought my Filo, and an example of the type of pen I use, to my local show repair shop. I thought they could add some elastic to the loop so it could hold thicker pens, but after some testing they found that the rubber grip on the pen would snag on the elastic.
